Shrimps and all sea animals besides fish are haraam according to the Hanafi Math-hab. Read the following interesting report:

A woman suddenly died unexpectedly with signs of bleeding from her ears, nose, mouth & eyes. After a preliminary autopsy it was diagnosed that death was due to arsenic poisoning. Where did the arsenic come from?

The police launched an in-depth and extensive investigation. A medical school professor was invited to come to solve the case. The professor carefully looked at the contents. In less than half an hour, the mystery was solved.

The professor said: ‘The deceased did not commit suicide and neither was she murdered, she died of accidental death due to ignorance!’ Everyone was puzzled, why accidental death? The professor said: ‘The arsenic was produced in the stomach of the deceased.’ The deceased used to take ‘Vitamin C’ everyday, which in itself is not a problem. The problem was that she ate a large portion of shrimp/prawn during dinner. Eating shrimp/prawn is not the problem that’s why nothing happened to her family even though they had the same shrimp/prawn. However at the same time the deceased also took ‘vitamin C’, that is where the problem was

Researchers at the University of Chicago in the United States , found through experiments, food such as soft-shell contain much higher concentration of five potassium arsenic compounds.

Such fresh food by itself has no toxic effects on the human body. However, in taking ‘vitamin C’, chemical reaction occurs and the original non-toxic elements change to toxic elements.

Arsenic poisoning has magma role and can cause paralysis to the small blood vessels. Therefore, a person who dies of arsenic poisoning will show signs of bleeding from the ears, nose, mouth & eyes. Thus as a precautionary measure,

DO NOT eat shrimp/prawn when taking ‘vitamin C’. After reading this; please do not be stingy. Re-share to your friends.

assalaamu alaykum.

Below is another nauseating article and proof that this Ummat has to investigate what it stuffs down its throat.

There is no such a thing as all is halaal because some mufti SAYS SO, OR TO INVESTIGATE DOES CAUSE “TOO MUCH DIFFICULTIES” FOR THE PEOPLE……

REMEMBER. WE ARE WHAT WE EAT. AND IF WE EAT ANYTHING WHICH CROSSES OUR WAY THAN WE ARE JUST SHAYATEEN IN HUMAN FORM!

ONE CAN NOT EXPECT TO REACH ALLAH AZZA WA JAL AND GAIN ILM AND WISDOM OF DEEN BY EATING LIKE A VULTURE AND JUST BELIEFS EVERYTHING A PACK OR INDIVIDUAL BLURTS OUT WITHOUT INVESTIGATING FURTHER,

THIS WORLD AND LIFE IS A CONSTANT STRUGGLE FOR US MUSLIMS.

EASE AND COMFORT IS FOR THE KUFFAR AS IT IS THEIR JANNAT NOW.

PESHAWAR - The district administration of Peshawar on Friday seized two containers carrying dead chickens from Chamkani area of the city.
Giving a press briefing to media, Assistant Coordination Officer (ACO) Habib Ullah Arif said that the local administration conducted a raid in Chamkani area of the metropolitan and seized two containers full of dead chickens.
“The containers were transported from Punjab,” he said adding that the authorities arrested two culprits involved in the act.
He further added that the culprits were involved in supplying meat of dead chickens to different banquet halls and hotels across the city.

QUESTION

The Saudi Embassy in South Africa is advertising the availability of
“80 places for South Africans to study in various universities in Saudi Arabia.” Is it advisable for Muslims to study Islamic education at Saudi universities?

ANSWER

Regarding Islamic education, the Saudi universities propagate and specialize in the deviated Salafi ideology. Whoever takes admission to a Saudi university, lacks in Ilmi Istidaad (academic ability in terms of Islamic Knowledge). Those who study at Saudi universities, invariably return brain-washed and indoctrinated with Salafi’ism.

When they return, they deviously propagate the Salafi ideology under guise of being Hanafis. We have a couple of such slinking characters in our midst who ostensibly proclaim to be Hanafis, whilst in reality are Salafis employed to undermine the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah.

We strongly discourage students from proceeding to Saudi Arabia for Deeni studies. The Deen is too precious a treasure, and may not be trifled with as they do at Saudi universities. Every Tom, Dick and Harry who gain a smattering of ‘knowledge’ of the different Math-habs at Saudi universities, run away with the corrupt idea of being a ‘mujtahid’ on par with the Aimmah-e-Mujtahideen.

(NaturalNews) It seems like a new energy drink comes out every month claiming to provide more “energy,” fewer/zero calories and no sugar. Approximately 30-50 percent of today’s adolescents are consuming these drinks; it’s important for parents and adults of all ages to know if they are really safe. The amount of caffeine in such drinks is often excessive and unregulated by the FDA. Is there really any therapeutic benefit to consuming energy drinks? Are they doing more harm than good? Lifestyle modifications can be made to provide energy the safe, healthy way.

What’s in an energy drink?

Caffeine: central nervous system (CNS) stimulant; adverse effects: nervousness, anxiety, insomnia, tachycardia, palpitations, altered consciousness, paralysis, hallucinations, seizures, etc.
(Energy drinks contain three times the amount of caffeine than cola drinks, and energy “shots” can contain up to five times the amount).

Taurine: Amino acid found in the CNS. Originally found in the bile of bulls and is now synthetically mass produced, even though it is produced naturally in the body. Possible adverse effects: hypertension, seizures, stroke, and death (Group III, 2009).

Guarana: Plant that contains large amounts of caffeine. Adverse effects: restlessness, insomnia, increased heart rate, hypertension, tremors, headache, etc. Each gram of guarana contains between 40-80 mg of caffeine; manufactures are not mandated to include this information on their labels, therefore, each serving size may contain significantly higher, dangerous amounts of caffeine than listed.

L-Carnitine: Amino acid; adverse effects: nausea/vomiting, seizures, abdominal pain, etc.

Ginseng: East Asian herb; adverse effects: headache, hypertension, insomnia, irritability, vertigo, etc.

Yohimbine: Plant-based herbal supplement; adverse effects: hypertension, tachycardia and death.

Megadose of B Vitamins: 2,000 percent B6, 8,333 percent B12. Although these B vitamins are water soluble, increased water intake should also occur when consuming such high doses. Vitamin B toxicity can occur with side effects.

Sugar: Toxic to our bodies and produces effects/addictive behaviors similar to alcohol. Fructose is extremely similar to only one other substance, alcohol (Lustig, 2009).

Energy drinks and shots also contain artificial flavoring and preservatives, which are toxic to our bodies and unnatural.

Who’s drinking this stuff?

46 percent of caffeine overdoses per year are in people under the age of 19. Children who consume energy drinks are at risk for more serious, adverse effects especially if they already take certain medications, have cardiovascular, renal or liver problems, seizures, diabetes, hyperactivity disorders, diabetes, or hyperthyroidism. Children should be getting enough exercise and eating properly to supply their growing bodies with the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients they require. These drinks are also extremely popular amongst college students. Lack of sleep and the desire to “increase energy” are the top two reasons students regularly consume these drinks.

Fighting fatigue naturally

Our society is fascinated and addicted to the “quick fix,” “instantaneous results” lifestyle. Drinking an energy drink will provide a rapid rise in blood sugar, B vitamins and herbs, but does not explain why you are experiencing low energy levels or a solution to fix the real problem (lack of sleep, nutritional deficiencies, etc.).

Energy drinks also pose risks in the workplace (healthcare fields). Safety issues are becoming a problem due to “mental and physical effects of the drinks, which are mainly related to the [CNS] and include heightened alertness, altered sleep patterns, arrhythmias and, rarely, seizures. In the workplace, any pharmacologic agent or substance, such as energy drinks, may present a risk to the delivery of healthcare.” (Guilbeau, 2012)

Consuming energy drinks comes with potential risks, drug interactions and an absence of benefits (Seifert, et.al, 2011). Why not fuel your body with the energy it requires naturally? Nutritiously dense foods provide the ingredients you need to stay healthy and energized. Lentils, beans, eggs, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits are essential foods and smart choices to help you stay energized throughout the day. Exercising on a regular basis will also help to boost energy levels and improve your overall health.

(NaturalNews) As few as one diet soda daily may increase the risk for leukemia in men and women, and for multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma in men, according to new results from the longest-ever running study on aspartame as a carcinogen in humans. Importantly, this is the most comprehensive, long-term study ever completed on this topic, so it holds more weight than other past studies which appeared to show no risk. And disturbingly, it may also open the door for further similar findings on other cancers in future studies.

The most thorough study yet on aspartame – Over two million person-years

For this study, researchers prospectively analyzed data from the Nurses’ Health Study and the Health Professionals Follow-Up Study for a 22-year period. A total of 77,218 women and 47,810 men were included in the analysis, for a total of 2,278,396 person-years of data. Apart from sheer size, what makes this study superior to other past studies is the thoroughness with which aspartame intake was assessed. Every two years, participants were given a detailed dietary questionnaire, and their diets were reassessed every four years. Previous studies which found no link to cancer only ever assessed participants’ aspartame intake at one point in time, which could be a major weakness affecting their accuracy.

One diet soda a day increases leukemia, multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin lymphomas

The combined results of this new study showed that just one 12-fl oz. can (355 ml) of diet soda daily leads to:

- 42 percent higher leukemia risk in men and women (pooled analysis)
- 102 percent higher multiple myeloma risk (in men only)
- 31 percent higher non-Hodgkin lymphoma risk (in men only)

These results were based on multi-variable relative risk models, all in comparison to participants who drank no diet soda. It is unknown why only men drinking higher amounts of diet soda showed increased risk for multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Note that diet soda is the largest dietary source of aspartame (by far) in the U.S. Every year, Americans consume about 5,250 tons of aspartame in total, of which about 86 percent (4,500 tons) is found in diet sodas.

Confirmation of previous high quality research on animals

This new study shows the importance of the quality of research. Most of the past studies showing no link between aspartame and cancer have been criticized for being too short in duration and too inaccurate in assessing long-term aspartame intake. This new study solves both of those issues. The fact that it also shows a positive link to cancer should come as no surprise, because a previous best-in-class research study done on animals (900 rats over their entire natural lifetimes) showed strikingly similar results back in 2006: aspartame significantly increased the risk for lymphomas and leukemia in both males and females. More worrying is the follow on mega-study, which started aspartame exposure of the rats at the fetal stage. Increased lymphoma and leukemia risks were confirmed, and this time the female rats also showed significantly increased breast (mammary) cancer rates. This raises a critical question: will future, high-quality studies uncover links to the other cancers in which aspartame has been implicated (brain, breast, prostate, etc.)?

There is now more reason than ever to completely avoid aspartame in our daily diet. For those who are tempted to go back to sugary sodas as a “healthy” alternative, this study had a surprise finding: men consuming one or more sugar-sweetened sodas daily saw a 66 percent increase in non-Hodgkin lymphoma (even worse than for diet soda). Perhaps the healthiest soda is no soda at all.

6 Disgusting Facts about Shrimp

Shrimp may be your favorite seafood—until you read this.

BY EMILY MAIN
farmed-shrimp

Mmm…shrimp with a side of antibiotics, cockroaches and dead fish.

Shrimp is the most popular seafood in the United States, but here’s an unsettling fact that might keep you from ordering your next shrimp cocktail: 90 percent of the shrimp we eat has been imported, but less than 2 percent of that gets inspected by U.S. regulatory agencies. What’s the big deal? Imported shrimp, more than any other seafood, has been found to be contaminated with banned chemicals, pesticides, and even cockroaches, and it skirts food-safety authorities only to wind up on your plate. The number one reason for all that: the dirty conditions in which farmed shrimp are raised.

#1: It’s filthy.
Banned antibiotics aren’t the only unwanted sides you get with imported shrimp. Previous tests have found penicillin, an antibiotic that, while legal, could trigger allergic reactions in unsuspecting shrimp-lovers. “Imported farmed shrimp comes with a whole bevy of contaminants: antibiotics, residues from chemicals used to clean pens, filth like mouse hair, rat hair, and pieces of insects,” says Marianne Cufone, director of the fish program at the nonprofit Food and Water Watch. And that list doesn’t include Salmonella and E. coli, both of which have been detected in imported shrimp. In fact, imported shrimp is so dirty that it accounts for 26 to 35 percent of all shipments of imported seafood that get rejected due to filth, according to Food & Water Watch.

#2: Shrimp-packing plants are filthy, too.
A report published in the November 2012 issue of Bloomberg magazine revealed some truly disgusting facts about the conditions in which shrimp are packaged and shipped. At one particular facility in Vietnam, the magazine’s reporters found processing-plant floors littered with garbage, flies buzzing around, and shrimp that wasn’t being stored at proper temperatures. The shrimp itself was packed in ice made from local tap water, which public health authorities warned should be boiled before using due to microbial contamination, potentially exposing the shrimp (and eaters) to more bacterial contamination. According to Bloomberg, FDA inspectors have rejected 1,380 loads of seafood from Vietnam since 2007 for filth and salmonella, including 81 from the plant the reporters visited.

#3: It’s full of cancer-causing chemicals.
According to a 2011 Government Accountability Office report, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) tested just 0.1 percent of imported seafood for chemical residues. Here’s what the agency missed in that untested 99.9 percent: banned antibiotics that have the potential to cause cancer. Recently, ABC News recruited scientists from Texas Tech University’s Institute of Environmental and Human Health to test 30 samples of shrimp purchased from grocery stores for the presence of three classes of antibiotics. Two samples of farm-raised (as opposed to wild) shrimp from India and Thailand tested positive for nitrofuranzone, an antibiotic that’s a known carcinogen, at levels 28 and 29 times higher than those allowed by the FDA. Another antibiotic, chloramphenical, was detected at levels 150 times the legal limit. It’s been banned in food production in the U.S. because of possible severe side effects such as aplastic anemia and leukemia.

One exposure to imported shrimp isn’t likely to harm you, says study author Todd Anderson, PhD, professor of environmental toxicology. “It’s the potential for chronic exposure that we’re most concerned about.”

#4: It’s exacerbating climate change.
More often than not, these nonnative shrimp are raised in farms, rather than being caught wild. Shrimp farms, essentially huge underwater pens, are built along coastlines, and to make room for them, shrimp farmers have to destroy native mangrove forests that provide a buffer against hurricanes and flooding. Scientists from the U.S. Department of Agriculture have found that mangrove forests absorb and trap more climate-changing carbon dioxide than any other ecosystem on the planet, including rainforests. Yet, over the past 50 years, anywhere from 5 to 80 percent of the mangrove forests in Thailand, Ecuador, Indonesia, China, Mexico, and Vietnam (the five leading shrimp-farming countries) have been destroyed to make room for more coastal shrimp farms.

#5: It’s making the rest of the seafood menu a lot smaller.
Those mangrove forests do more than just trap carbon dioxide. They provide vital habitats for other commercial seafood species that are important to local economies, including snapper, wild tilapia, sea bass, oysters, and crabs. According to Food & Water Watch, roughly 70 percent of commercially valuable seafood species in Ecuador, Honduras, and Mexico and 33 percent in Southeast Asia are dependent on mangrove forests, and for each acre destroyed, 675 pounds of commercial fish are lost.

#6: It’s not domestic.
By this point, you’re probably thinking that imported shrimp may be disgusting, butdomestic shrimp is tainted with oil. The U.S. wild shrimp market did take a serious hit after the 2010 BP oil spill shut down dozens of shrimp fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico for a year. The shrimp populations there are still recovering, but money has been flowing into a seafood-testing program overseen by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which is partnering with the FDA and testing not just for oil but also for residues of Corexit, the chemical dispersant used during the spill.

One concern: Scientists from the Natural Resources Defense Council, another environmental nonprofit, have criticized the residue limits for oil and Corexit that the government is using, suggesting that they’re not low enough to protect pregnant women and their unborn children. If you are pregnant, you always have the option of U.S. shrimp from the Pacific Northwest.

‘HALAAL’ MJC-CERTIFIED PORK ANOTHER ‘HALAAL’ VARK (PIG-PORK) DEBACLE
Another ‘halaal’ certified PORK rumpus has erupted in Cape Town. Pick’n Pay has apologized for ‘halaal’ pork labelling in its Canal Walk outlet. The wors with pork-casing labelled ‘halaal’ and certified by the MJC was discovered by a Muslim doing his shopping at the store.
Although Pick ‘n Pay had offered the Muslim buyer a refund, he refused it and displayed his dissatisfaction at the flabby explanation proffered by Pick ‘n Pay.
Whilst Pick ‘n Pay and the MJC caught with their trousers down are at pains to placate Muslims with their ‘labelling error’ argument and apology, the community does not accept such insipid arguments. ‘Labelling errors’ have now become the norm. This is the umpteenth time that such VARK-PORK products have appeared on the shelves of MJC and SANHA-certified business outlets.
The Orient-MJC Pork saga is still fresh in the minds and hearts of Muslims. The other day there was an ICSA-Pork debacle as well. The stock response of ‘labelling error’ is now a monotonous stupidity. Despite Pick ‘n Pay’s claim of a ‘permanent Muslim supervisor’ on the premises, it had devolved on a Muslim customer to discover the ‘halaal’ VARK wors. The assurance that the contents were devoid of pork is not appealing to Muslims.
What is the function of the supervisor? Why have all similar cases of ‘halaal’ swine meat and sausages been discovered by consumers and not the supposed ‘supervisors’?
There can be no doubt that the greater part of the Muslim community had been fed with ‘halaalized’ pork and other carrion meats over the decades by these vile Pork and Carrion hawkers who halaalize just every haraam filth and carrion for the gratification of their monetary objectives. But, the greater share of the blame devolves squarely on Muslim consumers, not on the shayaateen who halaalize the carrion and pork products.
To gratify their carnal, carnivorous greed by consuming just any kind of rotten, filthy and haraam chickens and meat, Muslims have been smothering their agitating Imaani conscience and soothing it with the utterly baseless assurance offered to them by the stupid ‘halaal’ markings appearing on wrappers and labels. Muslims should hang their heads in shame and disgrace for purchasing meat products from non-Muslims simply on the basis of a stupid ‘halaal’ label/emblem and a scrap paper dubbed ‘halaal’ certificate.
It is unintelligent to expect non-Muslims to honour the Shariah’s tenets applicable to halaal food. Why would they not derive pleasure from feeding Muslims pork intentionally, when Islam is a hated religion to them? With so much animosity between Muslims on the one side and the Yahood and Nasaara on the other side, what conscience would prevent them from deliberately feeding Muslims pork and carrion under cover of the confounded haraam certificates issued by the conglomerate of carrion purveyors?
“Ponder! O People of Intelligence.” (Qur’aan)
On the Day of Qiyaamah, in the Divine Court, the excuse of having followed the fussaaq and fujjaar molvies and sheikhs of SANHA and MJC will not mitigate the villainy of having devoured carrion and pork. The Qur’aan warns Muslims against the deception of the evil scholars. Thus severely castigating the masses of Bani Israaeel, the Qur’aan Majeed states: “They took their scholars (their ulama) and their saints as gods besides Allah…..”
There have been too many incidents of so-called ‘labelling errors’ which should be ample to convince Muslims of the massive corruption in this whole rubbish ‘halaal’ certificate industry. Every defence put up by the carrion hawkers is a blatant LIE. Their one and only concern is the haraam boodle they are earning from their satanic ‘halaal’ certificate trade. Halaal and Haraam are not their concern. Their concern is the money. Allah Ta’ala, emphasizing the imperative need for the consumption of pure and halaal foods, says in the Qur’aan Shareef:
“O People! Eat from the earth that what is halaal (lawful) and
tayyib (pure and wholesome), and do not follow in the footsteps
of shaitaan. Verily, he is your open enemy. Verily, he instructs
you with only evil and immorality and that you speak about
Allah what you do not know.”

18 Ramadhaan 1433 – 8 August 2012

In Durban ‘Pork’ polony packed in ICSA-certified wrappers has been discovered by an irate brother who is now calling for a boycott of the outlet, Mighty Meats, which stocked the halaalized ‘pork’ polony.
ICSA’s molvi and Mighty Meats have defended themselves by claiming that it was a labelling error. MJC and SANHA too had made similar claims when pork had surfaced with their ‘halaal’ certification.

Whilst ICSA argues that the product does not contain any pork, the fact remains that it is haraam for Muslims to purchase and consume meat products sold by non-Muslim outlets. Mighty Meats is a non-Muslim business-house. More than ICSA and the other haraam certificate vendors, Muslim consumers are blameworthy. These vile ‘halaal’ certificate purveyors are mercenaries whose sole objective is the haraam boodle. This abominable trade of haraam certificates is very lucrative, hence the issue of halaal-haraam is not their concern. But, Muslim consumers are the ones who ultimately devour the rotten carrion and the pork which are certified by the satanic ‘halaal’ certificate vendors.

If Muslims consume pork and carrion meat and rotten chickens on the basis of a stupid, deceptive ‘halaal’ marking on a wrapper, then they have only themselves to blame.

The issue of ‘labelling errors’ is old and stupid hat. The fact is that there is absolutely no Muslim supervision as the Shariah requires. The occasional popping in by a stupid molvi/sheikh is not supervision. With their occasional visits they dupe the Muslim public. The objective of their exercise is only to fleece money from the business sector. Such ‘errors’ have led to Muslims consuming pork. The MJC-ORIENT PORK debacle will still be fresh in the minds of the haraam-consuming public whose only concern appears to fill their bellies with carrion, hence they only require a stupid, deceptive ‘halaal’ logo to halaalize pork and carrion.

Muslims who purchase meat products from non-Muslims on the basis of ‘halaal’ logos and ‘halaal’ certificates have no right of throwing up tantrums when they discover pork products labelled ‘halaal’ by ‘error’. The ‘error’ is a lesser sin – a substantially lesser sin – than the capital sin of buying meat products from non-Muslim outlets. Muslims who consume meat acquired from non-Muslims should not lament and lambast the Satanist ‘halaal’ certificate vendors. Those who buy and consume meat products from non-Muslims have no valid argument against the mercenaries who prostitute the Deen for their pecuniary objectives. It is no use and it is unintelligent to blame the devil for sins we perpetrate.

Those who devour the halaalized carrion and pork labelled ‘halaal’ by ‘error’ are like the inmates of Jahannum who will blame and abuse the devil and their evil leaders who had duped and misled them. Regarding such unfortunate people who will present the argument of having followed confounded mis-leaders, the Qur’aan states:
“If only you could see the occasion when the transgressors will be
standing before their Rabb! Each one will be passing the blame
to the other. The lesser morons will say to the bigger morons: “If
it were not for you, we would have been Mu’mineen’.

The bigger morons will say to the lesser morons: ‘What! Did we
prevent you from the guidance (of the Deen) after it had reached
you? In fact, you (morons) are all criminals.’

The lesser morons will respond: ‘In fact, it was your scheme day
and night when you instructed us to commit kufr with Allah and
ascribe partners unto Him.’

However, they will suppress their remorse (their regret will be of
no avail) when they see the Punishment. And, We shall shackle
their necks with yokes (of iron and fire). They will be thus
recompensed only for what they had perpetrated.”
(Saba’, Aayaat 31 -33)

The consumers of halaalized carrion and pork come fully within the scope of the abovementioned Qur’aanic verses. The fate of the kuffaar portrayed in these aayaat will also be the fate of those who devour haraam meat products acquired from non-Muslim outlets. On the Day of Qiyaamah when the consumers of halaalized carrion and pork are hauled in the Divine Court, their blaming ICSA, MJC and SANHA will not avail. Eating haraam meat and pork on the basis of ‘halaal’ certificates issued by these miserable ‘halaalist’ shayaateen is not a mitigating circumstance. The devourers of haraam meat products are in reality in cahoots with ICSA, MJC and SANHA who are able to promote their haraam carrion trade in view of the support of the carrion-consuming Muslim public.

So whilst the ‘halaal’ certificate purveyors are the ‘big morons’ stated in the Qur’aanic verses, the consumers of the halaalized rotten, carrion meats, chickens and pork are the ‘lesser’ or ‘smaller’ morons. Passing the blame to the ‘big morons’ will not exculpate the ‘small morons’ from their sin of consuming haraam carrion and pork.

IT IS HARAAM TO PURCHASE MEAT AND CHICKEN PRODUCTS FROM NON-MUSLIM OUTLETS. SCRAPS OF PAPER CALLED ‘HALAAL’ CERTIFICATES AND ‘HALAAL’ LOGOS AND EMBLEMS DO NOT TRANSFORM HARAAM CARRION AND PORK INTO HALAAL TAYYIB FOOD FOR MUSLIM CONSUMPTION.
